It's a way of life
How might the world end? Stephen Petranek lays out the challenges that face us in the drive to preserve the human race, and some solutions to prevent a global catastrophe.
I've finally uploaded some of the pictures of Val D'Isere, which you can view here. I make it a rule of thumb not to publish pictures of people on the web, so you will only be able to view the scenic shots.
So, I just got back this weekend from a skiing trip in Val D'Isere. That would explain the lack of posts for the last few weeks. That, and the fact that work has really been hectic.

According to the BBC, "An unusual clash between a 6-foot (1.8m) alligator and a 13-foot (3.9m) python has left two of the deadliest predators dead in Florida's swamps."
It was reported in today’s Independent that a group of prisoners in the UK are suing the Home Office because ‘they were forced to stop taking drugs in jail’.
America has spoken. In fact, they're screaming it from the roof-tops - 'No more Iraq!' At least that's what they are saying if you read any of the London press over the last week.
Is it just me, or is it really rather disturbing that images of al-Zarqawi's corpse are splattered all over the British media?

I've not done a blog entry for ages and ages - about 5-6 months actually. A hell of a lot has happened in between then and now. Life has truely tossed and turned me. If 'life' were able to order a drink at the bar, it would have it shaken, not stirred.
Living in a city the size of London allows for little opportunity to experience the delights of nature in all it's glory. Of course there are some small remnants remaining in our parks and open spaces, but little else. As such, the city dweller is mostly detached from the lore of the land and, in many cases, oblivious to what's happening around them.
Christmas is just around the corner, and I've already been subjected to a month and a half worth of advertising. Anyone would think that religion is losing its appeal.
Is it?
