Danny Sullivan Spins Another Site

Today I took in my daily dose of Search industry news from searchengineland.com and I noticed a long-awaited change. The "Don't Click Here" button had disappeared.

It has now been replaced by an intriguingly named new button entitled "Sphinn". Now that I am officially allowed to, I clicked.

Sphinn (pronounced, I think, like 'spin') is a new social bookmarking site dedicated to the search industry. It combines a Digg-like interface with forum discussions in an ingenious mix of social functionality.

Sphinn

It's in Beta at the time of writing, so I'll not review it now. However, it's a fantastic idea and looks like it will be a great addition to my bookmarks. I wish Danny and the team the best of luck with it, but I'm sure they will not need it.

Personally, I look forward to taking part and watching it grow into the success story that Danny is normally blessed with.

Congratulations!

PS - I've signed up and it seems I was the 500th member of the site. :-)
