Just when everything seems to be returning to normal here, the travel network starts crumbling. This morning, exactly one week from the attacks on London, I again found myself in the midst of the emergency services on the underground.
This time, however, it was due to nothing more sinister than a broken-down train in front of us. After leaving home early to get to work, I then found myself stuck on a train in a tunnel for an hour.
When we finally got to a station and were let out the station was swarming with police and paramedics waiting to treat anyone who had started to feel unwell. They then closed the entire Victoria line down. So much for trying to get in early.
