Today I took in my daily dose of Search industry news from searchengineland.com and I noticed a long-awaited change. The "Don't Click Here" button had disappeared.

With the relentless drive towards personalised search comes panic in the SEO/SEM world. Everyone is trying desperately to understand just how this might effect the rankings for their sites.

For this short post, I'm going to assume you have a site that targets an international audience, rather than a local or country specific community. If so, you will be wanting visitors to find you globally, or at least in a specific set of countries.

I finally made it to SES London after six years in the industry, and I have to say that it was a great three days. I attended with a collegue from work and I think he'll agree that we had a fantastic time.
